Outback Aperture is a fine art photography practice based in southeast Queensland. We travel the breadth of this continent — from the red dust of Channel Country to the coastal wetlands of the tropics — searching for the moments that deserve to last.

The Photographers
Husband and Wife duo from southeast Queensland with a shared conviction that Australia's wild places deserve to be seen properly. Not through a car window. Not on a phone. Printed large, and hung where they have the space to breathe.
Every journey we take is built around the light. We leave early, we stay late, and we come home with the kind of images that took patience, distance, and a deep respect for the country we were standing in.
That approach doesn't change when we're closer to home. We photograph events the same way we photograph everything else — because when memories become fuzzy, photos remain clear.
